But if you have any suggestions or feedback then please share it with us. We always want to provide the correct and best information about cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

Considering that Ethereum will move from PoW to PoS in the future will mean that there will be an increased momentum of interest in staking cryptocurrencies. So get in early for some passive income gains!

A very clear pattern also while looking through our list, is that blockchain platforms like VeChain, Stratis, ARK, Lisk and really pushing hard to promote themselves as the easy option.

crypto staking coins

Because it’s been clear that while blockchain technology offers some great benefits, it can be difficult to understand, to communicate and to use.

Therefore a clear focus from blockchain startups has been put on making it much easier to understand and clearer benefits for businesses.

And progress has been made on that but it probably has a long way to go to really put those types of blockchain projects within mass adoption usage.

  1. Blocknet gives returns of 16%, where’s that?

    // Removed foul language (admin)

    • This is a great list. Platforms like Nexo and Celsius Network offer interest on crypto you have stored (variable rates on Celsius and 8% on stablecoins or fiat on Nexo) and both offer staking rewards on their tokens. Loyalty dividends are paid too, based on how long you’ve had your tokens staked.

    • Hello Dave,

      Thanks for your suggestion.

      The reason why this list is not including Blocknet is because it has very (very) low trading volume. About $45k USD, which makes it very difficult to trade if you want to, and if you have to for some unforeseen reasons. Where 75% of the trading volume is also tied to one exchange. Therefore it has not been included in this list.

      It is also very difficult to write a list and cater to every crypto fans wishes. But that doesn’t take away anything from Blocknet and we will keep an close eye to it in the future.

      (Btw we removed parts of your comments before because we don’t want to have foul language on our site)

      thanks!

  2. Perhaps it is well worth adding Gridcoin to the list as well. Due to CBR (constant block reward), APR is currently at around 2.5 % because less people are staking than expected. Gridcoin is also very cheap at the moment and you can start staking for as little as $25.
